DVD player for G4 with PCI graphics

Hello,
I have a G4 400 mHz with PCI graphics. I recently purchased a firewire 
DVD ROM. I am unable play any DVDs, CDs play just fine.

I have tried to find software (DVD player)that will work with. I cannot 
find any players for OS 9.2 or 10.2.5.

Any ideas?
