compatability

[Ruby Appling]

Hi all,, of topic abit here, but Im looking into palm devices that work 
as AV equipment remote controls such as TV's VCR's etc. my question is, 
is anyone presantly useing one of these you would recomend for ease of 
use, and is it also compatable with G4 mac powerbook?
its an opinion question of course but it so much easier to shop if i 
have some Idea of what to look for. Ive never had one yet, thanks for 
the help
