Whichever programs are causing your unexpected quitting, you should first concentrate on saving your documents more frequently. It is foolish to perform large quantities of work without taking the few seconds needed to save your documents and any changes that you have made. I recommend that you save your documents every two to three minutes to avoid losing data and having to duplicate all the lost work. You did not indicate if there were any dialogue windows with short explanations of the cause of the quit. Many times, there is an individual reason such as shortage of memory or interruption of process commands that caused the quit. Often, there will be a dialogue window that gives a coded number for the shut-down. There used to be a list of the codes available at VersionTracker's web site, but I haven't tried to find it lately and can't promise that it is still there. You may have to do some research to locate such a list. Good luck, but remember to save more frequently in the future.
