Where do you get this cable from and will this mean that the pro speakers will work on an sawtooth G4? If so there is a conversion cable which turns it into a 3.5 mm stereo cable which might make it a little longer. I think that extending it your self may be a more suitable option so you can customise the length to suit your desired need. Just cut the cable at the point before it splits into two, and add some more wire, solder the joints for longevity, and maybe use shrink wrap to insulate the joints from short ciricuiting. I would use those Auto crimp little tubes for Auto Electrics instead of Shrink Wrap and you could make quite a nice long sort of extension. I just have my MDD 1 foot to the right of my right leg and the existing cable is more than long enough on the Apple Pro (haha) Speakers. I find they do a nice job for simple monitoring purposes.
