I picked up a refurbished Pioneer DVD-RW, DVR-104 from MacResQ. It burns and plays CDs fine. It plays DVDs fine. I stopped tonight and bought some Maxell DVD+R 4.7 GB discs, and the Disc info command in Toast 6 says no disc present. It recognizes a recorded disc fine with the same command. Thoughts?
