I checked it out and below is the relevant statement: "Addresses a situation in which certain Internet service providers (ISPs) may not accept outgoing email (SMTP) from computers using NAT and a ".local" hostname (which may be assigned by Rendezvous)." I've asked Mac Tech Support if this is an issue for me since my version of OS X is 10.2.3. He said no, however, I have no other lead. Mac reassurances aside, I would like some proof. Now looking for ways to confirm or reject this possibility.
