QT 6 Pro/OS10.2.3 Can't Edit

Howdy Folks,
Seem to be experiencing an anomaly in QT6 Pro/OS 10.2.3.
The options of Select All, Copy, Paste are not available, as in 
combining .mpg video clips, or doing any editing. These functions are 
greyed out.
Previously in QT5 I could do that.
My OS9 volumes, which are still at QT5.02Pro have that capability.
So I have to Reboot into OS9 just to do editing.
Is this a QT6 thing, or a OSX thing?
Or am I missing something?
