[G4] Freezing Mouse

I'm not sure the mouse is at fault, Dan, because when I switched to an old
hockey puck, it too didn't work properly. In fact, to make sure I just tried
the Apple mouse again, and again had problems. I'm using just the keyboard
right now.

Just plugged the Explorer back in (to the keyboard) and it's working, but
who knows for how long.

Any other thoughts?
