10.2.3 and booting to OS 9

For those who have upgraded to X.2.3, does it interfere with booting into
OS 9 at all? Is there any kind of firmware change in the upgrade? Currently
running X.2 (dual booting to 9.2.2) on a dual 1.25GHz G4 MDD.
