VST Firewire Drive Questions

I am looking for extra storage (aren't we all), and am considering the
following drive.

VST 20 GB FireWire Hard Drive(external)

Machine is:

533 DA
OS 10.2.3 , 9.2.2
1024 ram
40 Gig (original 5400rpm)
30 Gig 7200 rpm Maxtor

Anyone had any experience with this or any FireWire HD with Jaguar?

Any problems I should consider?

Should I just stick with IDE/ATA Drives?
