If I were you, I would get on the phone to Apple and get to a manager and
point out the fact that it's a SECOND failure and you think they should make
good on it. If you make enough noise you may get some results. If it within
or close to year I think you can make a case for them replacing it. The only
other choice is to do a search on the net for the model number for your
drive and see if you can spot a reasonably priced replacement.
