Help with Excel 1.x

I have a document from my Mac Plus from 1989 that is in Excel 1.x 
format. Neither Office 98 nor Office v.10 will open it. Does anyone 
have any idea how I could rescue this spreadsheet? I no longer have the 
Mac Plus or the original Excel, but the document has survived all the 
data transfers that I have made from machine to machine, and I would 
like to open it again. Thanks for any help anyone can offer.
