They wont work in an iMac, and they might have some trouble in a b/w or biege G3 because of the slow ide channel. Actually the 105s in a fw case works with the built-in cd-rw stuff, but not iDVD. (im not sure what genious is in charge of this..) you have to use Toast. DVD-player works with the external though. I didn't try it internally. I was a bit frustrated because Apple's cd-rw stuff wont work the MMC3 compliant cd-rw drives (another genious *eyeroll*) and had spent a lot of time trying to get it to work with several cheap no name cd-rws.
