I think this totally depends on what you need right now, and how much $$ you want to throw at it now and how soon you will acquire more $$ to throw at it. I might be the only person on the list to say this but frankly a 1.25DP will handle your load fairly adequately for the next couple of years. You will know when you need to upgrade again, and hopefully by then you are making Money off your investment enough to pay for the 3+Ghz G5..
