[G4] SCSI cards and sleep (was...and new MDD's?)

Hello,

I experienced sonething quite similar with my G4 AGP, the workaround was:

1) rest the pram (at startup hold apple, alt, P, R keys and wait for 4 chime)
2) boot into openfirmware (at startup hold: apple, alt, O, F keys.)
3) type "set-defaults"
4) type "mac-boot"

Do not leave the system boot into normal operation between steps 1 and 2.
