It's only rumors at this point, but I saw a thread on a rumor site 10-12 days ago that the person who submitted it apparently works at IBM's Fishkill NY plant had just shipped 40M 1.6 GB 970 processors & 50M 1.8 GB 970 processors, both with alti-vec built in, to Apples assembly plant in Taiwan.
