I have an iMic, it works fine on OSX and OS9. It sounds ok, a little noisy on output, not much at all, but hey - it's $45 delivered. The Powerwave should be a tad better - those Griffin folks know how to integrate with a Mac. I don't use it professionally, I have expensive hardware for that, but it's a good little unit.
