I use an iMate to connect my Nuform Adesso keyboard (which I consider to be the best ADB keyboard I've ever used) and it works great in both OS 9.2 and 10.2.6. No lag in typing. Griffin improved its extension and control panel greatly when it added the ability to reset the INIT (extension) thru the control panel, i.e. I guess it does a sort of forced rescan of the USB/ADB bus and gets the keyboard and system communicating again (in the past, I had to unplug and replug the iMate from the USB port, though this didn't always work). I also connect a Wacom Intuos ADB graphics tablet thru the Nuform keyboard. One problem with this setup is that you "lose" the USB ports provided by a USB keyboard, e.g. for a mouse. I have my USB optical mouse plugged into a USB hub and it seems to work well. Another BIGGER problem: with the iMate plugged in, my G4 Sawtooth reboots if I try to shut down. To shut down (which I do only when I go out of town for extended periods) I have to unplug the iMate, unplug the USB hub, plug the mouse into the computer and then choose Shutdown from the menu. Not very elegant. But a small price to pay to be able to keep using my Nuform keyboard... now if I could only find a cheap USB Nuform with QWERTY layout in Europe.... Chris
