I (original question poser) have a Sawtooth and it is indeed capable of driving VGA monitors. I guess what I thought is that the old 17 inch Apple monitor that my bro-in-law is using may not be a regular VGA monitor. Maybe the years since the clones has addled my brains but I though in those days Macintosh monitors had different pin placements than regular "PC" monitors. From what others have said it sounds like a simple adaptor is needed. -Adrian On Monday, March 10, 2003, at 02:40 AM, w appling wrote: > re; my sawtooth came compatable for both vga monitors and digital > displays ,it was the first to be so equiped with agp slot > On Sunday, March 9, 2003, at 09:00 PM, Adrian Stubbs wrote: > >> My brother-in-law wants to dump his old clone and buy a second-hand >> G4.
