[G4] iMovie to Quicktime

i have had problems with quick time playing vcds in os x.
They run in os 9 like a dream, but in x there is no go.
i wonder if there is something someone has over looked when writing it for
os x???
Sorry this dosn't help but i thought it might be nice to know that you are
not alone.
