MDD FW 800 G4 1 Gig - sleep mode

Does anyone have this model machine?  I am wondering something.  The machine
works great but when it goes into sleep mode, the power light doesn't
pulsate.  Is that abnormal?  I can hear the disk spin down when I put it to
sleep but the light remains steady.  I know on the older machines the power
light pulsates.  Just curious.  I'd hate to make it an issue but I like 100
percent optimally running machines.  I hope it's just the way it's supposed
to be.   Thanks.
