[G4] disc utility

Boot into OS 9.2.2 (use a bootable CD from DiskWarrior, Tech Tool Pro,
whatever) and find the TexTedit .plist file (Property List file) in your
user>Library>Preferences. Trash it, Empty the Trash, reboot in OS X and try
loading TextEdit again. Should do it.

How many users do you have on the system. One thing that I had happened
yesterday is that Textedit would not run under one user but when I logged
back on as root it ran fine. This has happened a few times an can yet to
figure it out.
