[G4] OS 10.2.6 Problems

The million dollar question is:


How do I reinstall the 10.2.6 update?

The computer hangs as soon as I power up and the apple splash screen shows up.


I have tried to reinstall an older version,but the installer does not 
let me do it.Prompting "there is a new version installed.



Help!
