That's a good guess Sherry. The good news is that large hard drives are 
now incredibly inexpensive. You don't say what size your drive is nor 
if you have more than one. But you can buy another 120 GB drive for 
about $80 right now. Western Digital is offering $80 rebates until the 
end of May on their 8MB buffer 120s. So you might want to take 
advantage of that to back up the clicking one and then the even better 
good news is that the drive that is failing is probably under a 3 year 
replacement warranty so you can get the manufacturer to give you a new 
one by contacting them directly. 8 ^ )
