G4 Sawtooth Revisited

it does sound like the same problem garretts at xmission.com has.  I will
have to try dif USB keyboard and mouse as soon as I can locate some. I
don't have Extensis/etc on the machine, and haven't used Safari as it's
not online.  It is a clean install of 10.2.  

I do not have a HP printer.  Its an Epson and currently sits getting
dusty as it's not installed, or even plugged into the USB port yet.
