Epson 1280 printing from iPhoto

I am having a problem printing photos with my 1280 from within iPhoto.  
I am using the 4x6 roll paper.  The 1280 driver is version 1.56 and the 
disk is v1.5aA.  The printer selected is the "Stylus Photo 1280 (Roll 
Paper)"  or the "Stylus Photo 1280 (Roll Paper - Borderless)".  Any 
printing on the 4x6 roll paper looks like it is trying to print a photo 
centered on a letter sized paper.  This happens when I try printing 
direct from a G4/400 running OS X 10.2.4.  If I try printing from a 
G4/450 running OS X 10.2.6 using USB printer sharing through the 
G4/400, it won't print at all.  The job is in the queue but re-starting 
it makes it try to communicate with the printer and then stop before 
any printing takes place, leaving the job in the queue again.

Is there an incompatibility with iPhoto or am I doing something wrong?
