No need to be polite with me. I think it's silly.
  You bought a dual processor workstation.And you  were not afraid of 
that major expense. Unless you are rendering video or 3D or intense 
photo image processing I cannot see what advantage the dualie gives you.
  So from what you describe , a single processor and media converter of 
some kind,
would have suited your purposes better and then you could continue 
buying all the cheapo camcorders in the world and taping them to your 
race car.
