Adobe Reader Patch Sucks Big-Time

I noticed on the Mac OSX version tracker list that Adobe has updated the
Acrobat Reader and posted a patch that changes it from 6.0 to 6.1. I
downloaded the 

AcrobatBasePackage_all.dmg

file and when you double-click on the  AcrobatBasePatch Package it opens a
Vise that does NOTHING but bring up a spinning disc indicating to me that
something is FUBAR.

Anybody been able to get the patch to work?
