Adding a 2nd Drive

Hi Guys/Gals,

I need some help.  I bought an Ultra ATA 160gig Maxtor drive (7200 rpm) 
and thought of using it in my G4  (733 mhz, 1.2 meg, 40 gig ). I have a 
9.2 and a 10.2.6 partition.

I thought of using the 160 as a slave but since it would then 
apparently run at 66 mhz, am I better off making it the master?

Another question:  Do I set the jumpers for cable?  or master/slave?
