For those that responded I purchased a new battery from Fry's about six months ago and the voltage still looks good - when removed from the Mac. Fry's could have sold a bad battery so I will try to find a fresh one at Radio Shack. Regarding Robert's comment I do NOT run NTS all the time due to a major bug in Mac OSX that does not alert the user when the dialup connection is disconnected. The NTS cannot deal with disconnects and get it brains scrambled and caused all kinds of problems with Entourage etc. When I notice the time has reverted to Dec 1969 and know I am connected, I use the NTS to set the OSX clock. I don't understand how pulling the plug effects the time. All other prams seem to hold up dick > From: "Robert A.
