I should have checked my facts. I stand corrected, the drivers I have were released from Microtek. That's where I downloaded from at least. File name is SM4-OSXV1.00b1.dmg. Creation date is Fri, Dec 20, 2002. I downloaded last May I think. Have not been playing with X since then to install & try it. (Summertime in Alaska). Maybe sometime soon. I'll surf their site tonight & see what's new (if anything). The scanner was run on a 6500/275 for 1+ years, and on my G4/450 AGP for 3 years 1 month now. Not a problem that I can remember. One of the best pieces of computer gear I've ever had. That's why I had to stand up for it. LOL! Still would like any input about these scanners & OSX if anyone has tried it.
