[G4] 10.2.8 update installer dies...

after you hold down CMD-S and are booted into single user mode, a command
prompt will come up (just like using the terminal, though it will occupy
the full screen) simply type "fsck -y" and hit enter (no quotes) it will
do its thing, checking the integrity and structure of the file system
(thus the "fsck" - "FileSystemChecK") run it repeatedly until it returns
"drive was ok" 2 consecutive times. most of all, good luck =)
