This is getting stranger by the minute. The outlook setting in the control panels folder does link to the original. But I did try your suggestion, still no luck. The other thing I tried was to delete the prefs for exchange and just launch outlook. When you do this w/no prefs it launches the setup stuff. Now for a different error. As I even write things this issue is changing. I was about to say that I get a error message saying that the files that need to be written could not be. Making me think it's a permissions problem. So I got into the terminal and ran a ls on both my jag outlook directories and my panther. Didn't even get a chance to check out the printouts. But anyway's the app just quit from the above could not be written error. Then I decided to just try to launch outlook again. It then went thru all the server part of the setup, set it up, and it works. If it does I will send you a step by step without all the above confusion.
