The cable company is this small city quotes maximum rates, so getting 2Mb/sec ain't gonna happen. I'm on DSL and typically get 1.2 to 1.5 Mbps. With cable, I get a max of about 640Mbps for their speediest service. That's why I'm on DSL here.
