Alex - Thanks. All I can say is DOH! In the course of learning about Wiretap scripting hooks as you suggested (there are plenty BTW), I (re)discovered a Scripts folder in the Wiretap main folder..... and what to my surprise. I found exactly what I needed already programmed for me. DOH! The only thing is, it'd be nice to have a cleaner front end for entering the dates and times of starting and stopping. This further leads me to conclude that what Lavode wanted is entirely possible as I know that Safari is scriptable regarding time and URL. Combining these two functions would give Lavode the script he wanted. Perhaps someone has already done this.
