[G4] Appleworks/MS Pros/Cons

Hope I'm not boring anyone -

I'm weighing the pros and cons of buying Appleworks 6.2.7 (vs.
a used copy of MS Office).

Pros

Would now be using a program suite that costs less than $100
for upgrades

Would now be using an OSX native program

Cons
- - - - -
Would have to use MacLinkPlus (does it come with?) to import
Excel docs from others? Ditto Word users?

Would not get cell background colors?

Am not real familiar with Works, have been using Excel for ages

Any thoughts?
