Thanks for getting back to me, Eric! I went back to check, and I have everything open, even my whole hard drive. In other words, sharing is enabled on all folders. I still get the same message, asking me to log on, but none of the combinations of my log on or password (I don't even really remember if I have them, but I use a limited few) but producing the error. I'm beginning to thank and losing my mind, and that's not typical. I usually can get through these things pretty quickly.
