Are you going to use the Mac as a video-recording device using your 
VCR video signal into your Mac's hard drive? Digitizing video is a 
different process from video taping as in VCR. Digital video is 
different since the image is transformed into an actual computer file 
that can be manipulated like any other computer document using a 
movie editing program, example QuickTime.
