printer status stopped

I installed Panther this morning and now my Epson Stylus Photo 825 seems 
to be in permanent stopped status. I can run the utilities that will 
test the printer but it will load a page to print and then go to stopped 
mode and I can't seem to get it to print.

I'm so new to OS X I don't know where to start and I hate to say it but 
the help menu sucks. I think I have what's known as a silver G4.
