Ok... When I start "IORegisrtyExplorer" it starts with: "Root" Clicking on Root opens: "PowerPac3,3" "Core99PE" "pci at f4000000" "AppleMacRiscPCI" "ethernet at f" "UniNEet" "IOEthernetInterface" "IONetworkStack" "IONetworkStackUserClient" END Not all matching up with yours... didn't see "IODeviceTree" or "device-tree" anywhere and a find didn't find them either. The "look-see" checked out fine.. clean & straight. I've also disconencted and reconnected the modem/enet cable 3 times.. checking every time to see if the connection (magically) appears. The enet cable has only been connected/disconencted from the enet port 3 times ever. I never had any other network cables conencted to the machine so it's no real big surprise that everything there looks good. I'll order the Linksys broadband router tomorrow... I can't seem to find any Mac-compatable cards on the net for under $30... sucks compared to the $6-$10 (or free after rebate) cards offered to PC users. .....pulling my hair out....
