Hi all, Parents are trying to view damonrv.com and do the virtual tours of motor homes. (They are in the market for a new RV.) They called me because they can't seem to view them. So, I got to the site, look at the Flash detect script, see it ferrets out older versions, click on one of the virtual tours, and it says I need a plugin. Okay, I have Flash 6, so I'm thinking I'll go to Macromedia's page and d/l Flash 7. (Thinking, what stupid web designers, why don't they build some backwards compatibility?) But no, I end up at ipix.com, and they want me to download their plugin. Just a question - is Ipix okay to download? I'm confused, I thought for 360 virtual tours it would be Quicktime VR. I have not heard of Ipix. I searched on Version Tracker but they didn't seem to be able to find Ipix. One hates to d/l plugins of dubious variety, regardless of promised delights, due to what may happen to the computer subsequently. Or is OSX better in this regard? Father is using OS 10.1.2 on a G4 iMac.
