But what are the things TT3 cannot do with OS X? Is it destructive to attempt, inadvertently or not, to defragment or to check volume structures on an OS X volume? I assume TTP3 can still do all the hardware tests on any dual-boot Mac. xxxxxxxxx Since I'm such a Devil-May-Care Guy, I decided to give TT3 a try on Panther. Using the CD as a startup disc, it would not show OSX. Instead, it opened as 9.2.1. All of the tests are for 7.5 through 9.2.1. The tests did work normally for 9.2.1. Then I allowed it to optimize the drive (30 gig). It finished that task in only 12 hours!! I haven't noticed any problems since, but Panther doesn't run any faster. I haven't tried Classic mode. I wish it would work with X but no way. TTP4 works fine though. _________________________________________________________________ MSN Toolbar provides one-click access to Hotmail from any Web page FREE download! http://toolbar.msn.click-url.com/go/onm00200413ave/direct/01/
