I had the same problem. I put a 200 GB HD in an AcomData FW case and only 128 gig shows. I contacted AcomData to see if I needed a firmware upgrade or something and here's their reply: "Hello, In regards to your question, unfortunately the external hdd chassis you have DOES NOT SUPPORT the Upgrade hdd you are referring too because of the Chipset the PC Board uses. The Max is only 120 GB. If you need to purchase the 'Enclosure', I know for now AcomData Does Not Sell Part(s) Individually, but you can try calling the number below and talk to one of our Sales Rep." Turns out that newer model FW enclosures have a chipset that can properly handle drives up to 250 gig and are advertised as such. Cheapest I've found are the Triumph cases. Google to find 'em for around $35 plus shipping. John Wilson On Friday, June 11, 2004, at 05:18AM, Richard Kriss <kriss at qsl.net> wrote: >Please post how you SOLVED the program.
