[G4] drive not supported

Hi.
Yesterday I bought a NEC 2500A DVD burner for my G4 400MHz and its run like
a Babe.
You need to download a driver from Lacie.com
It will support pioneer and NEC DVD drives.
http://www.lacie.com/download/drivers/LaCieProfile_Mar2004.dmg

Try this, I am sure this will work

Hi,

I bought and installed a new disc drive, the recommended Pioneer 
DVR-107D. When I attempt to burn a CD, I get a message saying "Drive 
not supported." What do i do now? :-) Also, the drive sticks out just 
too much for me to put the faceplate back on. Any ideas? Thanks.:-)
