Hello, Again. Yes, I had the 10.2.x installed, I made a clean Instalation of 10.3 (after a few days, I a saw my StartUp Problem), I should to make another clean installation with 10.2.8. The 10.2.8 run fine, it's my current version of OS X. But, I want to install the 10.3 again, but I don't want to have again the StartUp Problem. However, you make it sound like you installed 10.3 and then went back to 10.2.8. I have never done this. None of the OSs have ever given me a bad time, with the exception of the Aladdin DVD which almost killed my startup drive when I tried to play it in OS 9. > >YMMV, >-Lavode > > >> Thanks for your time, Casey >> >> But I already read that article from Apple, and it is not right. >> >> I am pretty sure, that I need to upgrade the firmware for my Next Instalation of >> Panther (10.3) on that Mac, and it will work nice. >> >> I am sure, I have on my Office a G4 400Mhz PCI graphics model (Yikes), because I >> have on my home a: G4 AGP Graphics Dual Processor 450Mhz, with the firmware >> updated and 10.3 running "cool". >> >> Anyway thanks, >> >> At 12:30 PM -0700 4/11/04, Casey Coulon wrote: >> >Jesus, >> > >> >According to Apples Web Site you do not need a firmware update for a G4 PCI. >> If you are mistaken and have an G4 AGP then you do need to do an update.
