I just want to throw in that your monitor (unspecified) is a fairly 
critical item in your choice of video card (in my view) .
And to point out that with My regular old style monitor I have to use 
an adapter on the Nvidia 4 card because it has no VGA out.
  So you really have to do some homework in this area too.
Also the consensus (with which I agree) is that you can't go wrong with 
a Sonnet for the CPU.
