The best recovery software is DataRescue. Use versiontracker to find 
it. Secondly I would try DiskWarrior. It's got a file recovery feature 
if you hold the option key and click on 'rebuild".

Try Norton and TechTool next.

BUT, don't use the computer because you may overwrite the files.
