[G4] What works on Tiger and does not?

I will get my Tiger update as soon as it is available from Penn State?  
It is $15 for PSU students, use to be free but I am guessing I am 
paying for the DVD media now.

Speaking of DVD media, what do users of macs without DVD drives have to 
do to install? Are there CD images available?  My G4 has A DVD drive, 
but my g3 imac does not... They forget to mention DVD drive required 
under Tiger's system requirements or do they...

I will install Tiger as soon as I know Dantz Retrospect will work with 
it? That also shows that Apple is doing a lot of under the hood 
changes, because generally when every 10.x upgrade comes out it breaks 
the Retrospect Backup software. I can understand why some don't want to 
jump the gun on installing a new OS upgrade... It makes me mad too when 
things don't work after an upgrade.
