Dan, You can use Disk Utility to make a disk image, then transport it over to your G3. If you have them networked, it's easy to do via iChat. If you don't, you'll have to have a large enough portable drive (such as a firewire, for speed) to store it on. I can almost guarantee that the disk image would be too large for a CD-R. I don't know if you would have to have the installer on such an external source in order to install, since I don't own Tiger.
