[G4] Powerbook V iBook

Greetings;

I am in the process of making a decision between 2 systems and would  
like to have some input.
The choice is a G4 Powerbook and an iBook. Assume the same basic  
processor speed, ram and hard drive sizes.
Most of the apps would be standard Mac stuff, Mail, Internet, Office,  
etc., but I would also be using SoundSoap to clean up sound, and I  
would want to do sound editing.
Basically what I am trying to do is decide which one to get. While  
price is not the main factor, it is a consideration.
Will the difference between the 1.42 G iBook be so significant that I  
should opt for the 1.5G Powerbook.
Opinions please? Many thanks, as always.
